Honourable Cumbe has been working hard to petition against child marriage in parliament by using the SADC Model law to ensure that girls like Chisisi are able to live their dreams and fulfill their potential.

Wait to Wed Series: Episode 3

Bahati and Fanaka have organized a meeting with some elders, traditional leaders, teachers, health care practitioners, parents and children from their community to talk about what child marriage is and how it affects the well-being of girls. The young advocates are passionate about promoting the SADC Model Law and empowering community members to do more to eradicate child marriage.
