As a joint UN programme that combines the specialized expertise of UNAIDS, UNFPA, UNICEF and WHO, this 2gether 4 SRHR report addresses the administrative, governance, management and operational issues that UN agencies need to consider when developing and implementing joint programmes.
The report aims to inform future regional UN joint programmes by sharing lessons learned from 2gether 4 SRHR, a programme designed to improve sexual and reproductive health and rights in 10 countries in East and Southern Africa. Examples demonstrate how the joint programme addresses multi-dimensional, complex concerns, strengthens regional partnerships and promotes sexual and reproductive health and rights as a regional priority.
