When Mmaditlhopho registered her pregnancy in her third month, she was informed that her pregnancy was high risk because she had high blood pressure. She was placed under high risk pregnancy care so that the midwife could closely monitor her high blood pressure, the pregnancy and her overall wellbeing.

Mmaditlhopho is holding her newborn baby after a safe delivery at the local health clinic that is supported by 2gether 4 SRHR.

Mmaditlhopho gets a check up and monitoring from her bed, a day after giving birth. Mmaditlhopho used to travel long distances to access health services from different health facilities. She is relieved that nowadays she has can access an integrated package of services at her local health facility.

Rachel Sengadi, a midwife at Mmadinare Primary Hopsital, is  one of  over 1000 health care workers  trained by the programme to ensure that they have the necessary
skills and technical competence to deliver quality integrated a SRHR services tailored to the needs of their clients, that are convenient, affordable, confidential and free from stigma and discrimination.

Sometimes when Mmaditlhopho is ill, the midwife travels to her home to maintains her post-natal care schedule.

Mmaditlhopo is satisfied with the integrated services she has received throught her pregnancy and encourages her family and friends to take advantage of the free
health care being provided by the government.
“My priority now is my family’s health and well-being. I make sure we come to the health center every three months to have our health checked.”
