Sifa was able to give birth safely, and for free, with the help of midwives in a UNFPA-supported mobile clinic in a camp for internally displaced people in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.

UNFPA, the UN sexual and reproductive health agency, is supporting the estimated 220,000 pregnant women displaced in the area with life-saving maternal and newborn health care.
