This report provides a summary of UNFPA's progress and achievements in East and Southern Africa in 2016. It focuses on the areas of improving maternal health, strengthening integrated HIV and sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services, improving SRH for young people, progress in using innovation to improve SRH, ensuring SRH in crisis situations, and increasing resources to fund UNFPA's programmes in the region.
