World Conference on Youth 2014
The 2014 World Conference on Youth (WCY 2014) will take place from 6 to 10 May in Colombo, Sri Lanka, under the theme 'Mainstreaming Youth in the Post-2015 Development Agenda'. The conference will bring together young people from the world over with a special focus on under-represented youth, with a gender and regional balance.

International Day of the Midwife 2014
May 5 is the internationally recognised day for highlighting the work of midwives. It was established by the International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) in 1992 to focus attention on the role of midwives and midwifery. In the lead up to 2015, ICM is using the overarching theme 'The World Needs Midwives Today More Than Ever' as part of an ongoing campaign to highlight the need for midwives. This reflects the need to accelerate progress towards MDGs 4 and 5.

Planning Meeting with RECs
